“I will be their champion in Parliament” Bradley has said as he shows his support for local farmers.
Last week, Bradley attended a National Farmers’ Union event in Parliament to show his support for food producers in the Bromsgrove constituency and across the country.
With rural areas making up 79% of the constituency, the newly elected MP has made backing farmers one of his top priorities.
Bradley said:
“With all of us relying on farmers three times a day, farming is the backbone of our rural communities – and one of the first events I’ve attended in Parliament has been to show my support for our food producers here in Bromsgrove and across the country.
“Our constituency is 79% rural, with farmers playing a key role in our local economy and of course our country’s food security.
“It was therefore disappointing there wasn’t a single mention of farming in Labour’s first King’s Speech. I hope this will be addressed, and I assure our farmers that I will be their champion in Parliament.”
