Bradley has revealed the winners of his inaugural Small Business Awards.
More than 100 local small businesses were nominated and in the running to be crowned Bromsgrove and the Village’s favourite small business.
After a month of voting and 1,992 votes cast by local residents, Bradley can now reveal the winners of his inaugural competition.
In joint first place after receiving the same number of votes are Casa Med, a family-run Mediterranean tapas restaurant in Bromsgrove town centre, and JJ’s Café, an independently owned café in Hollywood.
SJP Theatre Arts, a Bromsgrove theatre school, secured 2nd place and Bremi’s, an independent coffee shop and bar in Aston Fields, clinched 3rd place.
On Small Business Saturday (December 7th), Bradley visited all four businesses to congratulate them and to present them with their awards.
Bradley said:
“Small businesses are the backbone of our economy and it’s been a privilege to celebrate them as part of my inaugural Small Business Awards.
“Given 1,992 votes were cast, its clear residents love and appreciate their local small and independent businesses too.
“Huge congratulations to this year’s joint winners Casa Med and JJ’s Café and well done to SJP Theatre Arts and Bremi’s for finishing in second and third place respectively.
“I’d also like to thank all of the businesses who took part in this year’s competition. It’s been great to celebrate every single one of them.
“This year’s awards might be over, but my work to back our small businesses will continue.”
