Writing in this week's Bromsgrove Standard (August 02nd), Bradley said:
“It’s already been three weeks since I was elected as your MP and it’s been a whirlwind of a time.
In Parliament I’ve been setting up my new office and team who will help me to serve you.
This week I also delivered my maiden speech in the House of Commons. It’s the honour of my life to represent Bromsgrove and the Villages in Parliament, and in my maiden speech I committed to providing the strongest voice on the issues that matter to communities across our constituency.
In my speech I focussed on a number of my top priorities and issues I intend to deliver on in this new Parliament. This includes backing aspiration and entrepreneurship, town centre revitalisation, supporting farmers, protecting our greenbelt and ensuring good design is at the heart of the new homes that are built in the right places.
My focus will be on delivering results and I have a plan to achieve that. But I also have a crucial role to play in holding the new government to account – something I have been tasked to do by my constituents.
And here in Bromsgrove I’ve started how I mean to go on, by being an active and visible MP at the heart of our communities.
I’ve attended a number of events since my election from Bromsgrove Carnival to the Summer Open Day at St John’s Church. Well done to the Friends of St John’s for raising a fantastic amount of money for the Spire Appeal.
Over the coming weeks and months, I hope to meet as many of you as possible. And if you’ve contacted me in recent weeks, I will get back to you, but please bear with me as I set my office up.
“I promise you I will be an MP for everyone across our constituency, whether you voted for me or not. If there’s anything I can do to help then please don’t hesitate to get in touch.”
